The situation
Two US healthcare clients needed helpdesk and patient-communication products built by several independent teams at once, without the products drifting apart.
What I built
- Set up the team's shared foundations: a Turborepo + tRPC service template and a React component library, so independent teams shipped on common ground.
- Designed the micro-frontend shell that integrates helpdesk modules built by separate teams (React, Twilio Voice, embedded Power BI).
- Main author of the shared communications microservice: SMS, voice and WhatsApp via Twilio; rooms and email via Azure Communication Services, SES and SendGrid; plus web push. Also the Twilio call-event and recording APIs.
- Turned Azure AI proofs of concept into product features, including OCR document analysis for ToothHQ's dental eligibility-verification system.
